Coach Stephen A. Rodrigues, M.Ed., P.E.S

Coach Stephen A. Rodrigues, M.Ed., P.E.S

Holds a B.S. in Exercise Science and a Masters degree in Health & Wellness and is CPR & First Aid certified. He has worked with the New York Yankees as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach during past spring training seasons. He is also a professional member of the National Strength and Conditioning Assoc., American College of Sports Medicine and National Academy of Sports Medicine. Coach Rodrigues has been an assistant football coach for Lincoln High School since 1997 in addition to serving as the strength and conditioning coach. He served as a consultant to Upper Deck Baseball Academy training future baseball players. Coach Rodrigues has been personal training since 1994 and has trained high school, college and professional athletes. He specializes in developing speed and power of athletes. He also has a great deal of experience working with the sedentary adult population bringing back to a health and fun lifestyle. Most recently Stephen has co-authored a non-fiction book with Coach Kenworthy entitled The Everything Guide To Becoming a Personal Trainer.

Coach Katherine Kenworthy, M.Ed., ATC, CSCS

Coach Katherine Kenworthy, M.Ed., ATC, CSCS

A certified athletic trainer and strength and conditioning specialists, Coach Kenworthy earned a B.S. in athletic training and a M.Ed. In physical education from Boston University. She has worked as a varsity athletic trainer for various athletic programs at Boston University, Bryant College and the University of Rhode Island. She has also worked for several local high schools. Katherine specializes in injury prevention, rehabilitation and sport specific training. Also, she co-authored a non-fiction book with Coach Rodrigues entitled The Everything Guide to Becoming a Personal Trainer.

Joe Chece

Joe Chece, BS, CPT

Joe holds a B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Rhode Island. Joe is a certified personal trainer at Edge Athletics Performance and Training Center. He developed and implemented an inner-city weight lifting program for at risk teenagers. He has twelve years wrestling experience and played 1-AA college football. Joe has experience working with a variety of age groups and fitness levels, that range from teenagers to Tri-Athletes.

Amy Bergeron

Amy Bergeron, M.Ed

Amy Bergeron graduated from Providence College and taught elementary school for 10 years. Amy is a certified ACE personal trainer and also a certified Madd Dog Spin Instructor as well as Director of Group Exercise programs at Edge Athletics.

Dave Wright

Dave Wright holds a B.S. in Physical Education and Health from the University of Rhode Island and a M.S. in Strength and Conditioning from Bridgewater State University. Dave is a USA Weightlifting Certified Sports Performance Coach and for the pasat 14 years, he has been the head girl's track and field coach at LaSalle Academy.
